Mjellma Goranci and Shqipe Kamberi, two young women artists from Kosovo will present their artwork in two art genres: painting and sculpture. Mjellma’s paintings focus in the beauty of a woman presented in a very dynamic way and with vivid colours, Shqipe uses the traditional ware pieces of Kosovan woman in her sculpture and the faces. Her work is currently traveling the world as her portrays are used as the model to promote another product by Kosovan born artist and businesswoman the brand Laura Imami Eyewear that launched her brand in New York, Paris and London.
More Raca is an emerging young film director who is recently preselected for possible nomination at short films competition in Oscars.
Her debut film “Ajo” has been successfully presented in many festivals around the world and won awards. Following the film there will be a small discussion with the young director about the film.
The discussion will focus on Kosovo women leaders in arts and culture, who are leading some of the successful cultural and art independent institutions and are playing an important role in cultural diplomacy.
